Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body, so that you obey its desires. And do not offer any parts of it to sin as weapons for unrighteousness. But as those who are alive from the dead, offer yourselves to God, and all the parts of yourselves to God as weapons for righteousness. -- Romans 6:12-13 (CSB)
We are controlled by many things every day. It could be our ego or concern about what others think or expect from us. For some of us it is baggage from the past which leads to guilt, resentment, or bitterness being in control. Today, as we face the unknown territory and uncertainties of a global pandemic we may be tempted to give fear control. Some allow a substance or habit to have control.
Real freedom comes when we choose what we will allow to control us. Real freedom comes when we choose to allow Jesus to have control, allowing Him to truly be Lord and Master. If God is not number one in your life, something else is. Whatever you give that number one spot to will control you. When Jesus is in control of your life, he always moves you in the right direction and "He can do more with it than you can."

Maybe God would have you and your ministry team join us for a week of Team Ministry in Acuña, Mexico. Have you asked Him about it? Set aside your own fears of the unknown. Allow God to make the decision and then "do whatever He tells you."
Now is the time to begin planning.
Acuña, Mexico - Team Ministry - July 12-18, 2020
