A Life Worthy of the Calling 06/27/14
4 "As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received.2 Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.3 Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.4 There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called;5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism;6 one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all." Ephesians 4:1-6 Paul could have gotten hung up on the third word: PRISONER, a circumstance. We could do the same. Or we could accept Paul's challenge to live a life worthy of the calling we have received. We can get wrapped up in our own physical heritage or we can purpose in our hearts, utilizing the power of God's Holy Spirit within us, to create a new legacy based on our SPIRITUAL heritage. We can CHOOSE to live INTENTIONALLY. We can choose to intentionally seek
out those who are struggling and hurting, suffocating in crisis, or who are simply lost and need Jesus... a life worthy of the calling. What story are you telling? Is it the story of your physical heritage..your circumstances in life? Or is it the story of your spiritual heritage? #Missions #Evident #TellingTHEStory
